Suspects Arrested, after they “Pocket Dial” 911, as they Run from Police
April 23rd, 2013 by Joe BurgessOn Wednesday evening, April 10, around 6 pm, Monticello Police received a call from a local woman, reporting that she had been threatened by four suspects from Dumas on a local church parking lot. One of them allegedly pointed a handgun at her, through her vehicle window.
As the four females were kicking her vehicle, she saw the weapon, and quickly drove away.
After speaking to the responding officers, the victim later called MPD again; reporting that the four suspects were on Mill St., throwing rocks at her vehicle. Officers again responded, taking two females into custody, and following the other two suspect east on the railroad tracks.
Around 7:30, as the search continued for the last two suspects, MPD dispatch radioed the officers on the scene, telling them that the fleeing suspects had “pocket dialed” 911, as they were running away from officers.
Officers were then able to call the suspects, who were then located by the light on the screen of their cell phone.
Arrested were four Dumas residents:
Janaiwyaa Sumbry, age 19, charged with aggravated assault and criminal mischief
Erika Duncan, age 23, terroristic threatening, criminal mischief, and fleeing
Roshanie Madden, age 19, criminal mischief
Terica Simpson, age 20, criminal mischief and fleeing

OMG!!! Never mess with someone on Gods territory!!!! You will get caught VOLUNTARY OR INVOLUNTARY!!! LOL!!
Stupid is as stupid does!
Ages 19 to 23? Threatening a person and kicking a vehicle-on a church parking lot? Throwing rocks, then running away? Sounds like spoiled brats instead of grown women. It’s a shame that anyone of any age would act like this. I’m sure their families are proud…
