1. Applied Technology-“Farm Safety” Dalton Adams and Cole Cox- Silver
2. Career Investigation- “Doctor of Veternarian Medicine” Garianna Booker- Gold
3. Life Event Planning- ” Beach Wedding” Anna Groves, Makayla Barnett, and Keeton Orrell- Silver
These students advanced to state level competition in Febuary in Conway.
STAR events (Students Taking Action With Recongintion) are competitive events in which members are recognized for profeciency and achievement in chapter and individual project, leadership skills, and career preporation. STAR events offer individual skill development and application of learning through the following activities-
Cooperative- teams work to accoplish specific goals
Individualized- members work along to accomplish specific goals
Competitve- individual or team performance measured by an established set of criteria
FCCLA: The Ultimate Leadership Experience is a dynamitic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal,family,work, societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education, or related courses determinded by the state department of education. FCCLA has more than 190,000 members and nearly 6,500 chapters from 50 state associations, Porta Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The orginazation has involved more than ten million youth since in 1945.
