8pm Accident at 425 & 278

At 8 PM, Wednesday evening, the driver of a mini-van was transported to Drew Memorial Hospital by SEEMS, following a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 425 & 278.
Sources report that the driver and occupant of the pick up truck also received medical treatment.
It is believed that the Chevy pick-up was traveling northbound, and the Chrysler Town & Country was traveling southbound (and turning east onto Gaines St.).
Monticello Police worked the accident scene. Rod’s Wrecker and C&L Towing removed the vehicles.
