8 Foot Alligator Seen Near Winchester
June 26, 2013

z gatorAround 11:30, Wednesday morning, an alligator, estimated to be approximately 8 foot long, was seen crossing the Coon Bayou Bridge, near Winchester.

Drew County Sheriff’s deputies, game and fish officers, and other personnel responded to the scene, but the crafty critter crawled off into a nearby marsh, and escaped.
