7 Year Old Racing in National Event, Today at Noon
August 2nd, 2017 by iPhoneCrayton Harris, age 7 of Monticello, has earned his starting position at the 2017 Motocross Nationals July 31st – August 5th at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Tennessee. This is the nation’s largest amateur race. Watch it LIVE at RacerTV.com
Over 22,000 riders across the country competed to earn a spot at the Nationals, however only around 1,400 actually qualify.
He will be running in the 50cc (4-6) Class (He is AMA 6 year old as of January 1st). Crayton is the only child in his class that is from Arkansas out of the 38 racers in his class.
He will be racing a 2016 Cobra dirt bike and will be running #61 at this event (Normal racing number is #116).
We would like the say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored Crayton for this event as well as those who have purchased Raffle Tickets to contribute to the funding of this opportunity.
Crayton is looking forward to representing Monticello, while in Tennessee and we hope you will cheer him on as well.
