6 PM Shooting in Monticello Continues into County.

Minutes before 6 pm, Thursday, shots were fired from at least one vehicle at this home in the Tanglewood area.
Two vehicles left the neighborhood, and reportedly were firing shots at each other, while traveling north on HWY 425.
The white Chevy, shown here, believed to be involved in the shooting, lost control and wrecked out on Old Highway 13 near its intersection with 425 North. Another vehicle, a Mercury Grand Marquis was also reportedly involved.
Two suspects were detained in the immediate investigation.
MPD is working the city incident and the Sheriff’s Department is working the interaction on the highway, as it is believed to occurred outside of the city limits.
The incident allegedly stems from a dispute over the sale of a vehicle.
