We need to get the facts straight. The Dodge Journey and the
vehicles in front of it had stopped. When the Dodge Journey was
struck from behind, by the Lincoln Towncar, causing a chain reaction into the Buick Regal then the Escalade. There were 3 people transported to hospitals.
Probally talking on phones and not paying attention.
I can say that I was not on my phone and they driver of the Lincoln was not. Thanks for just assuming. Get the facts straight people, especially if you were not involved.
That was my guess because every time you go to town nearly every car you go by the people are on the phone. I hope the other ones were not but like I said “Prob ally”. Not “were.”. I don’t know how anybody can be sure that the car in front or behind them has occupants that are on the phone or not. That,s all I got to say about that.
I would just like to say that this is week two and today was the SECOND day i was almost rear ended….Once a BUS fogot to stop or thought no kids were getting on and mad a sudden stop…i was NOT close to the bus but i hear squealing tires…to look up and see a log truck doing all he could to stop…his trailer was shaking…and behind him another auto had to verge to right…..Most stops are suddend b/c people get too close to the car in front of them…..on phones or not…if its 7:30am….WATCH THE ROAD folks…
how would being on the phone while stopped contribute to the rear end collision? where could the middle two vehicles gone to escape the wreck?
