3 Injured in Crash near 425 Overpass – Comment from Family Posted
October 10th, 2013 by iPhoneA 77-year-old Monticello businessman was seriously injured around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, in a two vehicle collision near the overpass on HWY 425 South.
Also injured were his son and another passenger in the rear of the Toyota pick up he was driving. The two men in the back of the pick up were ejected from the vehicle.
Sources told MLive that the Toyota pulled out from Jordan Drive on the east side of Highway 425, into the path of a northbound, gray Hyundai.
All three passengers of the Toyota truck were rushed by both SEEMS and MASI to Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.
The Arkansas State Police worked the crash scene, assisted by the Monticello Police Department
Dan’s Towing and Rod’s Wrecker removed the vehicles from the highway.

Billy Ralph successfully completed surgery Wednesday night and faces a slow recovery.
Michael received broken ribs and a concussion but is doing as well as expected.
The other man involved in the accident is expected to be released from the hospital today.
