3 Car Pile Up Sends 2 Drivers to DMH ER
July 2nd, 2013 by Joe BurgessMonday afternoon, around 4:30, as a driver was attempting to turn off of HWY 35 East, a three vehicle chain-reaction quickly shut down traffic, and sent two drivers to the Drew Memorial Hospital’s’ Emergency Room.
The front vehicle, a Chevy pick-up was protected by it’s bumper, when it was struck by the Ford Crown Victoria behind it, which was struck in the rear by a Chevy Impala.
SEEMS transported the female drivers of the two cars to Drew Memorial. The driver of the pick-p was not injured.
Drew County Sheriff’s deputies worked the collision scene.
Reliable Towing and Rod’s Wrecker removed the wrecks.
