At approximately 1 PM, Wednesday afternoon, there was a three vehicle pile up on Highway 425 south of Monticello, near the I-69 construction area.

Sources at the scene report that a northbound Toyota 4-runner had stopped to turn. Behind it, a Buick sedan crashed into the rear of a Cadillac Escalade, which in turn struck the back of the Toyota.

Arkansas State Police worked the accident. DCSO assisted with traffic. MASI transported to victims from the area, one to DMH, one to JRMC.
