November 16th, 2011 by Joe BurgessAccording to Lt. Jason Akers of the Tenth Drug Task Force, a multi-county investigation by the Task Force has resulted in the arrest of three suspects the Task Force believes were involved in the illegal distribution of prescription narcotics.
Robert Wawrzynek, age 42, of Crossett, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver a schedule 3 controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. Wawrzynek posted a $15,000 bond and has since been released.
Melissa Kaye Golden, age 39, also of Crossett, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver a schedule 3 controlled substance,.possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. Golden posted a $15,000 bond and has since been released.
James Green Jr., age 43, of Monticello, was also arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance with intent to deliver, and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. Green was out on bond on other charges, at the time of his arrest. His bond for these charges was set at $25,000. His bond on the charges for next week’s court date has been revoked, so he remains in the Drew County Detention Facility, awaiting trial.
Agents alledge that Wawrzynek, a physician’s assistant at a Lake Village clinic, was knowingly writing prescriptions to Golden, in both her name as well as aliases.
Agents believe Golden would then fill the prescriptions at numerous pharmacies throughout the area, and then sell the prescriptions to Green, who would in turn sell the narcotics to users.
Agents, along with Crossett Police, searched the residence of Wawrzynek and Golden and recovered over $4,000 in cash and firearms as well as approximately (90) dosage units of suspected Hydrocodone.
Green was arrested in Monticello by Task Force Agents after a sting operation that resulted in Green being arrested for possessing (72) dosage units of Hydrocodone,

This is such a shame. Rob was a wonderful PA. He will be missed. My children loved seeing him, they were never scared of him and he always took the time to listen.
