2nd Grade Class Participates In Counting Activities
September 4th, 2012 by Drew Central SchoolsMr. McRae’s 2nd grade class participating in first week counting activities. The students were given a square piece of foil approx 3″x3″ and had to brainstorm on how to design a boat that would hold a maximum number of pennies. There were 2 rounds of competition where modifications could be made to their boats. The winners designed 2 boats that held 64 total pennies.
