Victim from Wednesday Fire Fatality Identified
February 4th, 2019 by iPhoneOfficials have confirmed the victim of Wednesday night’s house fire as Angela Hoover Wallace, age 56 of Monticello.
Stephenson-Dearman has memorial arrangements posted.
We extend our sympathies to her family and friends.

Authorities have confirmed that there was a fatality In Wednesday night’s housefire.
The only information released, at this time indicates that she was a female in her 50s.
More information will be available when appropriate family members have been notified.

278 East Closes, due to MFD Fighting House Fire

The Monticello Fire Department was paged to a house fire around 7:42 pm, Wednesday night.
Monticello Police also responded, closing HWY 278 at the Gaines & McCloy intersection for safety reasons. (This is where the two one-way streets merge, near Jordan Park).
No other information is available, at this time, except that no other buildings in the area seem to have been involved.
