278 Construction Continues

MLive spoke to ARDOT, yesterday, and confirmed that road construction will continue for the next couple of months.
Johnsville Sand & Gravel will continue from the 425/278 intersection, milling and overlaying Highway 278 to Wilmar. They will then return to Monticello, doI gotta the same to Gaines & McCloy Streets.
They will then proceed east on Highway 278 past Dead Man’s Curve.

repaving these roads seem admirable, however, MONTICELLO should look at the city streets.. 75% of them need some serious repair..
Note: ARDOT is responsible for paving the highways. The city streets, are the responsibility of the City of Monticello,. Those decisions are made by the City Council.
