23 Year Old Dies in Farming Accident
October 24th, 2016 by Joe BurgessAccording to Sheriff Mark Gober, a 23 year-old former UAM student lost his life at a farming accident in Drew County, Saturday afternoon.
Jacob Bishop, of Dumas, was working near Lake Wallace, in eastern drew county, Saturday, around 4 PM, when he was run over by a grain cart.
Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies and Dermott Ambulance responded to the scene.
Bishop was airlifted to JRMC, in Pine Bluff, where he later died.
“It’s a tragedy when anyone loses their life, but especially when it’s a young person with a bright future ahead of them. Our prayers go out to the family and friends of the deceased.” – Sheriff Mark Gober.
