Paige Chase Announces For Mayor’s Race

Paige Chase, city alderwoman for Ward 4, Position 2, has announced that she will be seeking the office of Mayor for the City of Monticello. She has been on the City Council since 2016, when she was appointed to fill the vacancy of her late husband, Tim Chase.
Chase is also the daughter of the late Mayor Allen Maxwell, who passed away while in office, in 2014.
This is the first election since the city government changed, and the Mayor’s election will be running as a non-partisan candidates.
Chase said “I have a lot of concerns about our city, and I want to do my part to help make them right.” She added, “I’m excited about the opportunity to seek the office of Monticello Mayor.
