Enon Baptist Church Revival

Sonny Tucker retired director of Arkansas Baptist State Convention will be in revival October 20-23 at Enon Baptist Church on Highway 35 East.

Times for the service are Sunday morning at 11 am with pot luck lunch to follow and Sunday evening at 6 pm.

Services Monday – Wednesday will begin at 7 pm.
Public is cordially invited to attend!

Woods Fire Causes Some Evacuations in Drew County, near Dermott

Between 4 PM and 9 PM, Tuesday evening, local firefighters, Arkansas Forestry Commission, assisted by Drew County deputies and OEM were on the scene of a woods fire near the Drew/Chicot County line, at Dermott.

Due to the strong changing winds, the fire continued to spread and call some area of evacuation, due to safety.

No other details are available at the time of this posting.

There were other fires on Tuesday, in other locations around the county.

Please remember we are still under a burn ban.

At 10:50 AM, Monday, Monticello firefighters, along with Drew County deputies & OEM and MPD, responded to the report of a trailer on fire, near the Highway 83/425 intersection.
