Around 3:10, Sunday Morning, MFD was dispatched to a house fire with reports of explosion.
They responded to the 200 block of South Gabbert St. and found a fully engulfed structure fire.
The reported explosion appears to have been oxygen tanks used for medical purposes. Crews remained on scene until approximately 5:00AM.
The home was apparently vacant, and gassed to the residence was turned off, before the fire.
MPD and DCSO also responded.
No injuries reported.

These are right here in Monticello so they can be picked up.
MLive just spoke with the owner of the property located at the northwest corner of Highway 425 South and Old Warren Road to ask the question that has Monticello buzzing, “What’s going in at that location?”
He told us that he recently purchased an additional property , in addition to the land he already owned, and is preparing the site to be more attractive to a potential franchise or business.
Sorry, folks. No announcement yet.
Thursday, at approximately 11 AM, on W. Gaines St., in front of Monticello Exxon, it appears the driver of this apparently loaded grain truck broke down and was abandoned by the driver, blocking traffic.
DCSO and MPD attempted to locate the driver, and by noon, Big Wrecker arrived to towed the vehicle and clear the highway.
Monticello dispatch attempted to locate a contact number to notify the owner, but this did not end successfully, leading to tow truck being called. The driver was located, later in the day.
