Two Monticello women are taking part in a Little Rock tradition, this week, at the Statehouse Convention Center. See the articles below, for more information.

Kristi Friday, of Monticello, is taking part in the Junior League of Little Rock‘s, annual Holiday House, event, at the Statehouse, Convention Center.

Kristi has been hand-making wreaths and accessories for several years, while performing local shows and festivals.

If you’re in Little Rock, stop by and see her at her booth, Glittered Wreath Company.

“I want to thank everyone for voting and especially to the supporters that voted for me, James Slaughter for Drew County Sheriff.

We have a lot of work to do between for the run-0ff, but I am prepared to put in that work to be able to serve as your sheriff.

My main goals as your Sheriff are to prioritize our children’s safety and to clean the drugs off the streets.

I’m intending on building a great TEAM with our law enforcement and our county.”

The Holiday House shopping event put on by the junior league of Little Rock has a familiar Monticello face participating in the event this year.

Korry Jones of Watercolors by Korry, has a booth filled with Christmas decorations, original art, t-shirts, and a variety of other gifts featuring her artwork.

Easily recognized by her pink displays, Korry has been pursuing art as a career for a little over two years.
