Mark Mason, was safely located, Saturday morning around 10:30 PM, during an area search by the Drew County Sheriffs Dept. along with local volunteers.

Mr. Mason appears to be in good condition, and is being transported to Drew Memorial hospital to be checked out by MASI.

According to the Star City Police Department, on Wednesday, September 22, at approximately 6:45 a.m., Star City Police and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 205 Park Street in reference to a “shots fired” call. (more…)

A Star City man surrendered to Arkansas State Troopers today following a four hour barricaded armed stand-off that began after the suspect allegedly fired a gun at Star City police officers.
