Upon the recommendation of the UA System Board of Trustees on Thursday, UAM announced it will postpone the May 8 spring commencement exercises on the Monticello campus.

First, thank you for your support of changing lives of children in your community and creating a new special event for Monticello. We have made the difficult decision to transition the 5K from an in-person run/walk to a virtual run/walk, where participants can complete the run/walk in their neighborhood, on  treadmill, wherever they usually run or walk. They can send results to us and we will send them a T-shirt and medal.

Funds raised will be invested in recreational supplies and summer activities for the 26 boys and girls, ages 5-18, who live at the Southeast Arkansas Residential Center in Monticello.
