I want to thank my son Trace (9) and daughter Ellie (3) for their support. They have no idea how much they push me to not only work harder, but to be a better man in general.

Due to schedule conflicts, County Judge Robert Akin has announced that Drew County quorum court will be held at the Justice Building in the old library on October 21, 6 PM.

Jamie Palmer, Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, has been selected to serve a two-year term as a state consultant on the board of directors of the Arkansas Nursing Students’ Association (ANSA).  Dr. Brandy Haley, Dean of the UAM School of Nursing stated, “We are honored to have one of our faculty members hold a state board position representing UAM.” (more…)
