Governor Asa Hutchinson was in Monticello, Tuesday, for the launch of the ACT Work-Ready Communities Initiative, at the University of Arkansas at Monticello Gibson Center.

With Drew County being a part of the Southeast Arkansas ACT Work Ready Community, “it will assure businesses that the workforce skills they need are right here in SE Arkansas.” -Gov. Hutchinson.

The City of Monticello is now accepting applications for Seasonal Pool Lifeguards for the McCloy Public Pool and Jordan Splash Pad for the 2017 Summer Season. Must be Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Certified.
