Tim Jacob, a long time supporter of the existing Arkansas Term Limit regulations, spoke to the local tea party Monday night.
He reported that hidden under the ballot title of the “ETHICS AND TRANSPARENCY ISSUE” (but not mentioned in the title) is wording to amend the states constitution to extend our current term limits from 6 years for State Representatives to 12 house to 12 years, and change the Senate’s term to 18 years.
My dear beautiful sister, you left us way too soon,
And so now in all our hearts
There is such an open wound,
If only you had not taken that dreadful walk,
And called upon just one of us to talk,
I will always wish I could have saved you that day
But I did not know,
That your heart had taken such a blow,
I wish I could have made you realize,
How important you were to all our lives,
But that was not in God’s plans,
You are now in His hands,
Time doesn’t heal all wounds
And our memories will never fade,
On that fateful day your mind was already made,
You were such a brave and fearless one,
But now you rest with the Father and His Son,
I guess what I’m trying to say,
Is that we will all see you again one day,
And now all your pain and suffering is gone,
For our Father in Heaven is still on His throne.
