“20 for the Future” Hears Private Mayoral Forum

“20 for the Future” members attended a private forum, last Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express, which was attended by all 5 candidates for the Monticello Mayor position. News media was not invited.
The only public after–meeting comments made by anyone present, were made by Bishop Sam Wherry (who reportedly was the primary source of non-candidate input). Wherry had endorsed Zach Taylor on Wednesday, prior to the meeting.
MLive was told, Wednesday, that the group did not sponsor the event, but instead was invited to it by it’s organizer.
