2-Year-Old Thrown from Car during Collision
November 24th, 2015 by iPhoneAround 7:30, Monday night, a 2-year-old child was ejected from a vehicle, during a 3 car collision at the intersection of HWYs 278 & 425, in Monticello.
Vehicles involved included a Nissan Altima, caring a woman and the two-year-old, and a Chevy pick up, with a lady and two student aged boys.
It appears that the door to the Nissan was pulled off, upon impact, by the bumper of the Chevy. The two-year-old was ejected from the Altima, into the roadway.
All 5 victims were transported to Drew Memorial, 3 by MASI and 2 by SEEMS. The two-year-old was then med- flighted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital by Air-One.
MPD worked the crash scene, assisted by DCSO and OEM.
Reggie’s Wrecker and Rangel Towing removed the wrecked vehicles.
