2 separate motorcycle wrecks, Sunday at 1 PM and Tuesday at 1:30 PM, sent both riders to JRMC by ambulance.
Sunday, a local lady was riding her motorcycle, northbound, with her family on highway 425 S. As she approached Brown Creek Bridge, north of Ladelle, the bike veered off the roadway, into the ditch, and became airborne, before landing in the creek.
Tuesday, a male rider was traveling into Wilmar, eastbound, on HWY 278. The bike suddenly “laid itself down” on its left side, reportedly causing a leg injury to the operator. Note the damage to the helmet and visor.
The Drew County Sheriffs Department worked both accidents. MASI transported Sunday’s victim; SEEMS responded for Tuesday’s.
Dan’s Wrecker towed Tuesday’s bike; the family removed Sundays from the creek, later that day.
