3 Arrests made in Commercial Burglary- Leads to PB Crash & Gunfire
March 3rd, 2017 by iPhoneA local pawn shop was burglarized on February 21st in Monticello. One arrest was made and three others fled the scene.
During the investigation it was determined that 8 guns were stolen from the business including rifles, pistol and a shotgun.
Officers developed leads from surveillance cameras in the area and interviews with people from the leads.
Monticello officers were able to gather enough information to seek arrest warrants on 3 suspects from Pine Bluff.
A 4th suspect was to be arrested in this incident, but at this time his real name was not known.
Monticello police contacted the Tri-County Drug Task Force in Jefferson County for assistance in locating the suspects.
Thursday, task force agents and Jefferson County Deputies attempted to arrest the suspects. As the suspects went to flee in a vehicle, they struck and pinned a deputy to a car.
The deputy fired at the fleeing vehicle. Officers pursued the vehicle in Pine Bluff until the suspect’s car crashed into a ditch.
All suspects were arrested and the unknown suspect was also in the car.

DeAndre Thomas 19 Pine Bluff
