City to Hire Accountant and/or HR Person – Videos

The city budget/finance/streets committee met Tuesday night, in what turned out to be a two hour meeting.
The majority of the time was spent discussing the need (and process) for hiring either/or a human resource manager and in-office accountant.
The city’s current administrative assistant is leaving that position, causing the mayors office to be even more shorthanded.
The benefits of adding both full-time manager-type positions was discussed, and an announcement will soon be advertised, describing the new “possibly temporarily combined” position, soon.
A part-time person has been hard in the interim.
