Sex Offender Arrested for Failure to Register

Last week, Hasten Glen Burns, age 55 of Monticello, was arrested by Sheriff Mark Gober.
It was determined through an investigation conducted by Sheriff Gober that Burns, who is a level 4 sex offender, failed to comply with Arkansas Sex Offender Registration requirements by not reporting to the Drew County Sheriff’s Office 10 days prior to his change of address, when he mo moved to Old HWY 13.
Circuit Judge Kenneth Johnson set Burns bond at $20,000.
