15 Initiatives / Referendums Won’t be Counted on Nov. 8 Election Ballot
October 11th, 2016 by Joe BurgessMonday there was a hearing at the County Courthouse, questioning the legality of the 15 proposed initiatives & reverendums that had received signatures, to be decided by local voters, at the general election, November 8.
A group of local business and community leaders had filed a lawsuit to question the legality of each of the proposed issues, which was to be decided by Circuit Judge Don Clover. The defendants were listed as the county and city clerks, and the county election commission.
