Log Truck Driver Testifies about Fatal Collision – 3:25 Update
November 13th, 2013 by iPhoneA log truck driver that was stopped waiting on the train to go by, was called as the next witness. He reported that he didn’t see anything, but felt and heard the impact of the collision. “It jarred me, but it didn’t move me.” He told the court that the welder on his load of logs was from the service truck behind him. The driver of the service truck told that he didn’t hear or see anything, until his head hit his door. He said that he laid down in the seat, and was thrown into his door again. After getting his wits, he got out of his truck, and saw a man laying in the road , 60 yards away . He told the court that when the men looking in the asphalt trucks window told him that truck had no driver in it, he showed them Childs, sitting in the highway.
