“Meth Mom” Arrested after Smoking Meth with 14 Year Old Daughter
February 2nd, 2015 by iPhoneThursday, the Drew County Sheriff’s Office along with Department of Human Services and 10th Judicial District Juvenile Court officers executed a search warrant on a residence in Winchester.
The search warrant was completed in order to remove four juvenile children from the home, due to safety reasons.
When the search was completed, the children were removed from the residence without incident. Afterwards, Lt. Tim Nichols, spoke to a 14 year old female, that was removed from the he, about allegations of her smoking meth. The juvenile then admitted to Nichols that she has been smoking meth with her mother, Lisa Fausett (age 32).
The juvenile explained that it started when she was 13 years old, during spring break, 2014.
She also admitted to smoking marijuana with her mother. Both controlled substances were provided to her by the mother.
While leaving the residence, Sheriff Mark Gober and Nichols observed a white female walking down the road. Contact was made with the female, and she was identified as Lisa Fausett, the juvenile’s mother.
Fausett was advised that her children were removed from the home and taken into custody for several reasons, including them not being in school for over 2 months, and the allegation of meth being smoked with the juvenile.
Fausett became apologetic about the situation and stated that she knew she was wrong.
Fausett was arrested for charges of Introduction of Controlled Substance into body of another person and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor 1st. Both of which are felony charges.
Friday, her bond was set at $30,000.

What is this world comin to!!! We try so hard to keep our children away from drugs !! Not to introduce them to it!! For Gods sake people get with the program I’d throw her under the jail to never see day light again!!!!
In Matthew 18:6 KJV Jesus said…..
[6] But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
not only has “mom” messed her life up, these children will suffer the rest of their lives too. I can’t imagine a “mother” even thinking about putting her children in such harms way. So so sad!
I agree wth ya they should throw her under the jail n throw away the key n she souldnt gt no bomd
Who r we to cast a stone for we all have sinned an came short of the glory of god yes she was wrong, but there is lost on both and jail is not just the answer the mom needs rehab and so does the child that encountered the drugs. And all the children needs counseling. The mom needs parenting classes. And were are the father of the children he should b held accountable as well. We need to pray for this family. It is such a sad situation but were on the outside looking in. There is something much deeper than drugs.
I sure the courts justified her as the “fit parent” too at some point. One heck of a “mother”.
I’m sayin, the courts are so quick to say these kids need to b wit there mother’s, then when there sorry buts get caught up in situations like this, then everybody then wants to holler bout where the daddy’s are, well perhaps if the courts will stop allowing these sorry women all rights to the child an stop making it so darn hard on the fathers tht are tryna do the right thing there might not b as much of this crap going on in the world…. I’m a mother myself an I think the mother should spend life in prison for attempted manslaughter js…. An three hots an a cot is still really more than she deserves….
