13 Gunshots Fired at Local Apt. Complex
July 27th, 2012 by Joe BurgessFriday around midnight, while MPD and DCSO were working a reported kidnapping, a wreck, and recovering a stolen vehicle (with the suspects still in it) a call came in to MPD Dispatch reporting multiple shots being fired in the parking lot of a local apartment complex.
Police quickly responded to Monticello Estates, located on West College St, where they found an estimated 13 shell casings, fired from a 380, which seemed mostly to be fired toward a silver Dodge Charger on the parking lot, with California license plates.
The back and bumper of the Charger were riddled with damage, and the rear windshield was reportedly shot out.
The suspects had left the scene, and the investigation remains active.
