115 Year-old AD&N Depot (Chamber Office) Hit by Car
January 7th, 2016 by iPhoneThe former Ashley, Drew, & Northern train depot, which currently is home to the Chamber of Commerce, was struck by a vehicle, Tuesday morning at 8 AM, following the collision at Gabbert and McCloy Streets.
The accident apparently occurred and northbound vehicle on Gabbert was crossing McCloy Street, and was struck by a westbound car, knocking it around into the historic building. At least one driver was transported to Drew Memorial Hospital.
Estimated cost of repairs to the structure are unavailable at this time, but meetings planned on that end of the building have been canceled, due to the support blocks of the building being damaged.
